The route follows the River Thur from its source on the Säntis, through untouched landscape in green Toggenburg, past waterfalls, through gorges and along manmade banks to Wattwil.
Each section of this route has its own distinct highlight - whether the Muttnerhöchi with its Walser village Mutten, the Alp Flix or the Lungihnpass, the watershed of Europe. And the two departure points, Sils and Pontresina are worth a visit.
